This week the Melbourne Intermodal and Industrial Exchange (MIIX) community came together to celebrate the growing precinct and the partnerships shaping its future.
The event provided a valuable opportunity to connect with our tenants, including Bunnings, AustraCold, IMCD Group, Coles Group and Koalstralia, and to share insights into what lies ahead for the precinct. We also extend our thanks to Hume City Council for their continued support and engagement.
MIIX continues to be underpinned by strong collaboration across the project team. A sincere thank you to our development partner Barings, alongside Intermodal Terminal Company and our property manager Knight Frank Australia, for their ongoing commitment to delivering a high-quality, future-focused industrial precinct. With strong leasing enquiry and a robust development pipeline, the momentum at MIIX continues to build.
The event also featured insights from key project leaders. Tracey Whitby, CEO Aware Real Estate spoke to the importance of close collaboration with tenants in shaping successful, enduring precincts. Stephen O’Connor, Head of Industrial Development, Barings Real Estate Australia shared perspectives on the development strategy, while Julian Zeltinger, COO , Inermodal Terminal Company outlined the long-term vision for the Melbourne Intermodal Terminal (MIT).
Together, these insights reinforced the scale of opportunity at MIIX and its role in shaping the future of logistics in Melbourne and across Australia.
As the precinct continues to evolve, our focus remains on building a connected, collaborative tenant community that supports growth and long-term success.
